Pueblo Memorial Airport is primarily suited to smaller private and commuter aircraft

Pueblo, Colorado is a small city about 45 miles south of Colorado Springs and about 130 miles from Denver International Airport in Denver. Although Pueblo has a small airport, in some cases flying into one of the two larger state airports may also be a good option.

  1. Pueblo Memorial Airport

    • Pueblo Memorial Airport is located 5 miles from the Pueblo central business district. This small airport offers regional and commuter commercial air service, charter services and support for private aviation. The Pueblo Memorial Airport operates three runways: an east/west runway used primarily for commercial flights, a north/south runway that is used for crosswind landings, and a small runway used only by small aircraft. Airlines servicing the Pueblo Memorial Airport include Great Lakes Airlines, XtraAirways, and Allegiant Air.

    Colorado Springs Municipal Airport

    • The Colorado Springs Municipal Airport is a jet-capable airport located about 45 miles from Pueblo. Colorado Springs Municipal is serviced by a number of airlines, including Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Continental, Delta, Frontier Airlines, Northwest and United. The Colorado Springs Municipal Airport also offers general private aviation services that includes a 24-hour tower and aircraft service facilities that are available 20 hours a day. This airport offers car rentals to Pueblo from Advantage, Alamo, National, Avis, Budget, Enterprise and Hertz.

    Denver International Airport

    • Denver International Airport is the region's largest airport. DIA offers international service to many global destinations and more direct flights to distant domestic destinations than Pueblo Memorial and Colorado Springs Municipal. DIA has runways able to accommodate the largest aircraft and offers a full range of ground transportation options, including bus and car rentals from a full range of national automobile rental agencies. DIA also offers a full range of services for private jets and other airplanes.
