At a kids party, the dessert is a much-anticipated treat. Use a creative approach when making desserts for kids for a fun way to wow young guests. Keep the party theme in mind when deciding on what to make, and keep desserts simple to serve and eat. Does this Spark an idea?

Spoon the pudding into a large glass baking dish. Place a handful of Oreo cookies in a plastic bag and use a rolling pin to crush them. Sprinkle the cookie crumbles over the chocolate pudding. Further embellish the mud pie with gummy worms and bug-shaped candy. Tint some coconut flakes green with food coloring to resemble grass. Use edible flowers such as pansies to complete the look. Scoop into individual cups and serve with spoons. Kids will get a real thrill eating "mud pie."
