Mediterranean cruises can focus on the eastern or western parts of the sea for shorter cruises, or will sail the entire length of the Med for longer ones.     • The luxury cruise line Yachts of Seaborn offers numerous Mediterranean cruises ranging in length from seven to 30 days. Different Seaborn vessels have scheduled departures from Lisbon, Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Rome, Venice, Athens and Istanbul, with destination ports the same as the departure point or one of the others listed. The Seaborn Spirit and Seaborn Legend carry just 208 passengers, while the Seaborn Odyssey can accommodate up to 450. Seaborn aims to make the experience like cruising aboard a private yacht.

    Regent Seven Seas Cruises

    • Regent Seven Seas provides a wide range of options for high-end cruises in the Mediterranean. Trip lengths from seven up to 23 days are available starting in Istanbul, Athens, Venice, Rome and Monte Carlo. The cruise line also specializes in longer cruises for travelers who want to take a multi-month cruise that includes Mediterranean stops. The Seven Seas Voyager and Mariner can carry up to 700 passengers. Dress code aboard the Regent Seven Seas vessels is elegant-casual.

    Silversea Cruises

    • The Silversea Silver Cloud cruises the Mediterranean with a high level of comfort and service. Med cruises are from seven to 12 days. Most departures are out of Athens, Istanbul, Rome, Venice or Barcelona. A couple of Silversea Mediterranean cruises leave from London. The Silver Cloud has a 296-person capacity and provides a grand hotel experience with six-star luxury service.
