A baby shower is way for the expectant mother to feel special and allow her to relax with family and friends before the big day. If you've been chosen or have volunteered to throw the baby shower, there are several ways to make the event memorable. Guess the Baby Pictures

Ask guests to bring their own baby pictures Tell the guests in their invitation to bring baby pictures of themselves to the shower. Collect the baby photos when the guests arrive. Hang up the photos and label each one with a number. Ask the guests to guess who they think the babies are out of the girls at the baby shower. The winner is the guest who guesses the most correctly. You can also use celebrity baby pictures, instead of guest photos, to take a more unique approach to the game.
Name that (Baby) Tune

Make a mix cd with songs that have the words "babe" or "baby" in the title Download 10 to 15 songs with the words "babe" and "baby" in the title. Examples include: "Always Be My Baby" by Mariah Carey, "I Got You Babe" by Sonny and Cher and "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-Lot. Play the first five seconds of each song, have guests write down what they think each song is. The winner is the guest who gets the most songs correct.

Baby Stroller Olympics

Hold a Baby Stroller Olympics for a lot of laughs The mom-to-be will sit this one out and serve as the judge. Map out an area of land outdoors. Mark off a starting and finish line. Within that area, set up a few obstacles with the lawn chairs, logs or other large materials. Have each guest start behind the starting line. The guest will hold a baby doll and stand next to a stroller. When the mom-to-be says "Go!" the guest will strap the baby into the stroller and push baby and stroller around the obstacles until they reach the finish line. The guest with the speediest time wins.
How Well Do You Know the Mom-to-Be?

Guess who the mom-to-be wants the baby to look and act like Have each guest guess what features she wants most on the baby from either her or the dad-to-be. Select 25 attributes and ask everyone to fill in a form from what each woman feels the mom-to-be's point of view will be. After everyone checks off the list, have the mom-to-be state her preference. The one with the most correct matches wins.
