Hidden Expedition Amazon Game Hints
"Hidden Expedition Amazon" puts your skills to the test as you search through detailed and captivating scenes for lost objects and clues to a lost civilization. Move back and forth between a group of areas to find clues and pick up objects to use elsewhere. When you're finished with each set, you'll be rewarded with a new clue to the puzzle. Helpful hints come in handy when you're stuck on a level or need a few tips on progressing the storyline.

Finding Objects
-
Start your search by reading over the list of objects you must find. If you've played the level before, keep in mind that certain levels will change the objects you have to find the next time you play through them. This can make a level easier or harder depending on which objects it changed and where it hid them. Scan the scene and pick out the obvious items from the list. Any blue items on the list you can't get yet. When you can get them, your cursor will turn blue, and you'll need to use an item from your inventory in that area.
Save your hints for the last few items. Hover over the item's name to see what it looks like. This is not only helpful because you now know what you're looking for, but if you come across a word you don't recognize, you can use its image to find it.
Beating Difficult Levels
-
Difficult levels often have small items that are colored to match the background. Look in dark areas or cluttered areas with lots of items. Take your time to scan each area carefully, but do not click randomly as you'll be penalized for multiple wrong clicks in a row. When you're truly stuck use a hint, but try not to use more than one hint in a row unless you're on the last three or four items in the level. If you still can't beat the level, leave and try it again later. On certain levels this can change the list of items you're looking for and may make it easier for you.

Collecting Extra Items
-
For certain levels you'll want to search for the Professor's journal pages, and on each level look for various colored beetles hidden throughout the scene. The journal pages are required to beat the game; the beetles are not. However, if you collect all five beetles in the scene, you get an extra hint. This can help you out when you're stuck. Look at the level's icon on the map and you'll see a piece of paper there if a journal page is hidden in that level. Look for a brown piece of paper in the level itself, often hidden against a dark background or in a corner. Only certain levels contain the journal pages.
