Norway Ferry Cruises
Norway is known for its dramatic landscape that offers views of fjords, rocky cliffs and stunning sunsets. Because of the country's low population and long coastline, its transportation is less developed than in other European countries. Because of this, old fashioned and traditional water transportation and ferries is still how many Norwegians get from city to city. Travelers can enter ferries as passengers or drive their cars on board.

Hurtigruten

Hurtigruten is a domestic Norwegian cruise line that visits 34 ports every day along the Norwegian coast. It visits some of the most remote ports. This provides an experience for a traveler to see more authentic Norwegian fjord towns that international cruise lines do not visit. Hurtigruten ships carry passengers, cars and cargo to some of these remote towns. The line offers tours of the Norwegian coast and the opportunity for travelers to select their own ports and hop on and off the ferry.
