The Best Bowling Alleys in Las Vegas
What happens in Vegas may not stay in Vegas if you bowl an awesome game in one of the best bowling alleys in Sin City. If you're looking to bowl with a few friends or take an entire gang out to a bowling alley in Las Vegas for a party, the following bowling alleys proved best in 2009.
-
Red Rock Lanes
-
According to the "Las Vegas Review-Journal," which asked readers to pick the top businesses in every category imaginable in Las Vegas, the bowling alley Red Rock Lanes comes in as the best bowling alley in 2009. The largest alley in Vegas, Red Rock Lanes contains 72 lanes of bowling fun. The alley illuminates with colored lighting and disco balls, while it blasts '80s music videos on large televisions. Red Rock Lanes also has a game room, deli bar, lounge with Bar Top games, VIP lanes and lounges with bottle service. Red Rock is closed Monday-Thursday from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Sam's Town Bowling Center
-
While the readers of the "Las Vegas Review-Journal" may have chosen Red Rock Lanes as the best bowling alley in Las Vegas for 2009, the staff of the Journal, however, chose Sam's Town Bowling Center. For one reason, Sam's Town is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Sam's Town offered 56 lanes of automatic scoring, instead of 72 like Red Rock Lanes. Sam's Town Bowling Center has a full-service pro-shop, snack bar, cocktail lounge and video game arcade, all lined with colored lights and disco balls. Extreme bowling is offered late Friday and Saturday nights that gives the alley a nightclub feel, with foggers and special effects.

South Point Bowling Center

Even though South Point Bowling Center in Las Vegas wasn't chosen as the No. 1 bowling alley in 2009, it came in close. This alley has 64 lanes and also offers a bar, arcade room, full-service pro-shop, snack bar and locker rooms minus all the disco balls, colored lights and large television sets throughout the alley.
