Try a wacky costume for Halloween.

Dressing up for Halloween is always a lot of fun, but if you want a wacky costume this year, you may have to be more creative. A wacky costume will get more attention than a traditional one. And if you want to enter a costume contest, then a wacky costume is certainly the way to go. You may even become the topic of conversation. Choose a wacky costume you feel comfortable in, then relax and enjoy the holiday.

Gorilla Holding a Cage

The gorilla holding a cage costume is certainly wacky. It requires only one person, but two characters are seen. The gorilla holds a cage that has a person inside. The person puts the top half of himself in the cage. His bottom half is wearing a pair of gorilla pants. Complete the look by attaching the top half of a gorilla costume to the back of the cage and attaching a pair of human pants and shoes inside the cage. That way, it really looks as if a gorilla is holding a cage with a person inside.

Bunch of Grapes

Going dressed as a bunch of grapes for Halloween is pretty wacky. The person wears either a purple or green sweatsuit. Several blown-up balloons are safety-pinned all over the sweatsuit, the more balloons the better. Also, try to blow up the balloons to about the same size. Tie them off and put a safety pin through the knot you make when you tie off the end of the balloon. Make sure that you use green balloons for a green sweatsuit or purple balloons for a purple one.

Cat With Litter Box

A cat costume is not so wacky, but you can add a wacky extra touch by carrying around a litter box. Dress as a cat, with ears, whiskers and ears. Carry a brand-new litter box filled with dry oats. Dollop globs of chocolate icing around the litter box to make it look like poop. For a gross-out effect, taste the icing in front of your friends.
