List of Dog Tricks in Fable 2
Fable 2 is an action role-playing game released by Lionhead studios in 2008. It is a follow-up to the esteemed Xbox title Fable and continues in the vein of the original. The games feature a fantastical world with a rather non-linear series of events for the player to persue. As a result of the format, Fable 2 is incredibly open-ended, and the plot can vary greatly from one playthrough to the next. This style of gameplay lends itself to multiple playthroughs of the title, as players may find it difficult to do everything available to them during their first attempt. This is especially true when attempting to collect the myriad hidden expressions and dog tricks found in the game.

Your Dog in Fable II
-
One of the most interesting additions to Fable 2 is the player's pet dog, which grows and learns based on the player's actions. The dog uses an advanced artificial intelligence script and interacts with the world in much the same way as a real dog might. Players are able to teach their dogs new expressions and tricks, which can make the dog an even more interesting and valuable addition to your team.
The Basics
-
Your dog will follow you around everywhere once you obtain him in the early parts of the game. Your actions will have a direct impact on the way the dog develops and acts. If you play an evil character who focuses largely on combat, your dog will grow to be fierce and aggressive, while playing a good-aligned character will lead to a gentle, almost radiant canine companion. Keep this in mind when raising your dog to have the greatest level of control over how the dog will look and behave.

The Tricks
-
Your dog can learn a number of different tricks, either by discovering manuals to teach them or by purchasing books to use on the dog. The "Begging" trick can be purchased at Fiction Burns bookstore in Bowerstone Market. The "Bunny Hop" trick can be found inside of a conspicuous chest in Bower lake. The "Growl" trick can be found inside of a chest in Gargoyle's Trove. The "Hide Snout" trick appears randomly in a number of different locations; it can be found by digging, recieved as a gift from an NPC or occasionally found for purchase in the Fiction Burns bookstore. The "Play Dead" trick is appropriately located inside of a chest in Bowerstone Cemetery. The "Roll Over" and "Tail Chase" tricks can be purchased at the Fiction Burns Bookstore early in the game. The "Targeted Urination" trick can be found randomly, but is also always available for purchase at Fiction Burns Bookstore.
