The American Broadcasting School Online offers a curriculum that covers many important aspects of the broadcast industry. Some of the classes offered include an introduction to the history of broadcasting, the development of an on-air personality, how to write scripts for on-air use, how to do an interview, how to do a news story setup, and how to be a successful program director. Breyer State University

Breyer State University offers a 10-week online broadcasting program. Time extensions to the program are available if approved by a Breyer instructor. The school offers students career training in radio broadcasting, television, mass media studies and journalism. The course work starts with basic media theory, and can move into a more detailed look at the student's specific broadcasting field of study.
