White craft glue
A popsicle stick house is a simple construction made from the small wooden sticks used for popsicles. You can collect cleaned sticks from your own frozen treats, or purchase large packages of new popsicle sticks at a craft store for this project. Once the basic shape of the house has been put together, you will need to construct a roof to complete your project. Creating an a-frame roof may seem challenging, but can actually be done in very little time.
Step 1
Glue three popsicle sticks together in the shape of an "A" using white craft glue. Attach a fourth stick in a vertical position, extending downward from the top point of the "A" shape. Repeat for a second "A" shape.

Step 2
Secure the "A" shapes to either end of your popsicle stick house with more white glue. Allow these roof supports to dry completely before moving on to the next step. If the glue does not provide a strong enough bond, you can use a small strip of masking tape to keep these supports in place.
Step 3
Glue a horizontal popsicle stick to the top of the "A" shapes on one side. Center the stick so that any overhang is equal on both sides. Repeat at the bottom of the roof.
Step 4
Glue a series of vertical popsicle sticks to the roof with the top of the stick secured to the top horizontal piece and the bottom secured to the lower horizontal piece.
Step 5
Repeat steps three and four to construct the opposite side of the roof. Add four more horizontal popsicle sticks to the top and bottom of the slanted roof sides, with two on each side, if desired.
