Nestled in 211 acres in the Allegany County forest, the Evergreen Trails Campground offers romantic and rustic log cabins that come equipped with a wood stove, a covered front porch and spring-fed water. The campground's facilities include pond swimming, horseback riding and five miles of hiking trails. The campground is located close to the town of Angelica, which offers a glimpse into the historic past of New York with old New England-style architecture within its 100 historic buildings. The streets of Angelica are pedestrian friendly and lined with shops and restaurants. Additional amenities within the campground include picnic tables, a charcoal grill and a fire ring.

The Omega Institute is an educational retreat center in the Hudson Valley. It offers weekend retreats for couples interested in sharing deeper experiences of growth within their relationship. The courses range from partner yoga to meditation workshops and all come with a variety of options in lodging and three vegetarian and delicious buffet meals. The mission statement of Omega is to offer integrity, simplicity and holism to their guests. The institute has an on-site lake equipped with canoes and hammocks that hang off the trees in the area's lush forest.
