Located at an elevation of 5,900 feet just outside the historic town of Truckee, this year-round family RV Park has 131 sites. Some of the park's amenities include: hook ups with cable TV, showers, a new club house, a craft room, horse shoes, a ball field, and flush toilets.The park can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet long. It is just 20 minutes from North Lake Tahoe.

Donner Memorial California State Park

The RV campgrounds located in this state park offers travelers access to boating, fishing, water-skiing, and hiking in the summer and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on its trails in winter. There are 150 campsites, 2.5 miles of hiking trails, a beach and restrooms. The park can accommodate RVs up to 28 feet long.

Tahoe State Recreation Area

Located in Tahoe City, near shopping malls and restaurants, this recreation area offers 31 available tent & RV campsites. Amenities include: flush toilets, showers, picnic sites, fishing pier, store, and laundry.The park can accommodate campers up to 21 feet and trailers up to 15 feet long.

Granite Flat Campgrounds

Adjacent to the Truckee River and only a short distance to Tahoe City, this bare bones campground offers more than 70 tent and RV campsites for vehicles up to 16 feet long. There are neither hook ups, showers nor drinking water. Pit toilets only are provided. Nearby, though, you can find a convenience store, a deli, a grocery store and restaurants.

Boyington Mill Campground

Located Between Boca and Stampede Reservoirs, this basic campground with restrooms offers 10 RV sites that are open from May to October. There are opportunities for fishing, hiking, and backpacking. Maximum RV length allowed is 32 feet.
