Corporate Holiday Party Games
The holiday party is a long-standing tradition in corporate America. At the end of every year, right around the time of the holidays, businesses all across the country get together to congratulate themselves and their employees for a job well done. Office party planners may find that two or three hours of employees sitting around talking isn't much of a good time. Party games can help add some excitement and get employees in the holiday spirit. Does this Spark an idea?

Holiday Trivia
-
This game involves hanging up various questions about the holidays all around the party room. Each person receives an answer sheet and a few golf pencils. The employees write their answers down on the answer sheets and place them in a jar in the room. Then, a manager or other supervisor goes through the answers and awards a prize to the person with the most correct answers.
White Elephant Gift
-
A white elephant gift exchange is simple and can give employees something to laugh about for weeks. The company typically supplies a number of inexpensive and quirky gifts. Someone from the human resources department or the party committee wraps these gifts and places them on a gift table in the party room. When it is time for the gift exchange, employees write their names down on a piece of paper and put them in a hat or other container. A manager draws names, giving each employee a turn at selecting a gift. Each person called after the first person is allowed to either select a gift from the gift table or steal a gift that has already been selected and opened. An employee whose gift is stolen may steal from someone else or choose a new gift from the table. To make these more challenging, the party organizer can restrict the amount of times a gift can be stolen from another player. This adds an element of strategy as well.

Holiday Treasure Hunt
-
A holiday treasure hunt can incorporate a team-building aspect to a corporate holiday party. The human resources staff or other party planning group divides employees into groups. Each group receives a treasure map. The map directs each team to perform some sort of holiday-related task (e.g. a challenge, a logic puzzle, etc.). These tasks help each team get to the next area on the treasure map. The first team to get to the end of the map wins a prize.
