Online State Colleges
A growing population of nontraditional students unable to attend campus-based university programs has increased the demand for flexible, online learning opportunities. Thus many state colleges and universities have developed online degree programs to accompany their on-campus programs. In addition to individual state colleges and universities that offer distance education programs, a number of large state college and university systems offer online degrees through interconnected networks of schools.
