Accredited Paralegal Schools

Paralegal schools offer paralegal certification for students wanting to pursue a paralegal career. Most paralegal programs, accredited and non-accredited are housed inside of technical schools or community colleges that offer a variety of other programs as well. Accredited paralegal programs are often more well-known however, and they adhere to the standards set forth by their accrediting body. Graduating from an accredited program is the best way to go.

  1. Universities

    • Kaplan University is an online university with campuses in Maryland, Iowa and Nebraska, accredited by The Higher Learning Commission. It offers certificates in Paralegal Studies as well as a bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies.

      Everest University is another online university with a Paralegal Studies department. Everest has locations in many states in the U.S., but the school is based in Oregon. Their accreditation varies depending on the state, but all of their campuses are accreditated.

    Colleges

    • Remington College is a technical school with campuses all over the nation, however it's paralegal program is offered online. It is accredited by Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges, which is the main governing body for technical schools.

      The National Paralegal College offers three options for future paralegals: a certificate, an associate's degree and a Master's degree. The courses are presented online as well. They are accredited by Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council.
