Ice Breaker Christian Party Games
Whether you are a part of an official church group, or you happen to be hanging out with a group of people who are all born-again Christians, there are a lot of games you can to play to help break the ice. Ice breakers are fun activities that help a group loosen up and get to know each other. All the better if a group can do so with Christian maturity and appropriateness.

Sports are an excellent way to become acquainted with a Christian small group. One sport that that works well for male and females is volleyball. If it is raining or snowing, head over to the local gym and rent a court for an evening. But if it is a warm and dry day, go to a park or beach to play sand volleyball. Remind everyone in the group to wear appropriate attire if both sexes are playing. The game itself should be the focus, ending the night by sitting down for Bible study. After this team-building activity, the group will be ready to confidently study the Word.

When it's too cold or hot outside, head into one of the group members' homes to play a Christian board game or even cards. But avoid gambling, because there is always a chance that a weaker brother or sister is in the group who becomes convicted of sin if money is ever put up. Keep faith in the Lord, not a game of chance. In regard to board games, find something that both men and women will enjoy. Christian women usually don't want to play a war strategy game (Risk, for example), but everybody has fun playing Apples to Apples: Bible Edition.

A common misconception regarding Christians is that they don't know how to have fun. But actually, Christians can be very fun and crazy people to hang out with. In "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" it's not hard to see how much fun people can have doing improvisational comedy. Christians can play those same games from the show, only without any sexual innuendo or dirty jokes. Like the show's games, points don't really matter, and you can make up the rules as you go. Anybody can participate in improv, and Christians have the unique ability to honor God through comedy.
