Christian Bible Games
Incorporating a game into an adult Bible study or church youth group event is an excellent way to add entertainment and depth to your meetings. Both children and adults enjoy games, as the games can break up an otherwise monotonous session by introducing a new way to learn information. There are many different types of games to play.

Charades
-
For a group Bible study, a game of biblical charades is an excellent way to learn about famous biblical figures and have fun. Each person should pick a character from the Bible and gather facts about him or her. The person should use the facts to act out a scene to help other people guess the character. Whether you use sounds is up to you. The person who guesses the character acts out his character and scene next. As the group moves through the Bible, the game will gradually get harder and harder as the more well-known figures are taken, and the Bible study group will be obliged to learn about various people from the Bible.
Trivia
-
Trivia games work well with many Bible study groups. These can be as simple or elaborate as you choose. One easy way to create a trivia game is to type questions on the computer, printing the questions onto thick paper. Cut these out and place them in a basket or hat. The group takes turns drawing questions and challenging fellow group mates with trivia questions. This game idea also can be adapted to follow certain themes, such as Easter trivia, women of the Bible or notable events.

"Guess Who" Bible Edition
-
To play this game, write the names of Biblical figures on index cards. Each person in the group needs at least one card. Have each person attach the card either to the forehead or the back with some tape, without looking at the name. Then have everyone walk around, asking each other yes or no questions in an attempt to guess what name they have. Set a specific number of questions that one is allowed to ask another individual. For small groups, this number may be two or three questions for each person. For larger groups, you can make it challenging by only allowing each person to ask one question to each group mate. The person who guesses their name first wins.
Board Games
-
Many Christian and Bible-based board games are available which you can purchase if you do not wish to create your own game. There are Biblical editions of games such as Outburst, Sorry, Monopoly, Life, Crazy Eights, and more. There is a game called Amen!, which is a variation of the game Uno. These games can be purchased online and at Christian supply stores.
