Campgrounds Near Munds Park, Arizona

Munds Park is located just to the south of Flagstaff and to the east of Sedona, Arizona. Staying at a campground near Munds Park affords some seclusion and privacy while also allowing you take advantage of all the big city activities that exist in Flagstaff area.     • Munds Park RV Resort is open from April 1 to November 1 and includes 370 total spaces, 355 of which offer full hookups and 342 spaces large enough for double slide outs. This RV park borders the Coconino National Forest where the hiking trails offer the chance for exploration of volcano features like cinder cones and ancient craters. Park features include a heated swimming pool and spa, game room, fitness center, two laundromats, lounge with TV and fireplace and general store that sells RV supplies. Kids can enjoy the playground and everybody can try their hand at the bike and hiking trails on the site.

    Manzanita Campground

    • The Manzanita campground is in Coconino National Forest and this campground is home to 18 tents-only sites that offer easy access to Oak Creek. No trailers or RVs are allowed at Manzanita which makes this a good choice for those looking for a more primitive and back to nature camping experience near Munds Park. Each site offers a picnic table and fire pit. There is no swimming pool, but you've got the creek which is also a good spot to try your hand at fishing. Hiking and mountain biking trails can be found throughout Coconino and Oak Creek Canyon offers another recreational attraction nearby. Pets are allowed as long as they remained leashed.

    Lo Lo Mai Springs Outdoor Resort

    • Lo Lo Mai Springs Outdoor Resort is just on the other side of Sedona and provides 27 acres of shaded camping areas. There are 20 tent-only sites and 100 RV sites offering full hookup. Most of the tent areas are situated very close to the creek and all have picnic tables, fire rings and water and electric service either right at the site or close by. Those who prefer to camp in the log cabins will also be satisfied with this Arizona campsite. This campground resort is open year-round and affords a vast array of recreational activities. Hiking trails surround the area and there are courts for playing volleyball and basketball. A fishing supply store allows you to head out for stream fishing or you can just choose to relax in the swimming pool or hot tub. Kids can have a good time on the playground.
