Plan an outdoor activity for the men's Bible study that pertains to the subject matter for that week. For example, if you're going to be studying about perseverance, you can plan to go for a hike at a local State park and then have your lesson and study in the outdoors.
You can use the hike as an object lesson on how everyone needs people for encouragement and support. Talk about what it was like when the hike encountered rough terrain and the importance of pressing onward. A physical group activity like this will help the men in your study connect on a personal level and give them a common event to discuss.
Eat Food

Use food as a starting place for you men's Bible study. You can have a men's breakfast or dinner where the men in your church gather around eating to discuss the Bible.
Allow time for the men to talk and create conversations among themselves. As people finish eating, clean up and then gather for the Bible study. The men will have spent time getting to know each other, making it more comfortable for them to open up and share.
