Grants for a Church Library

Church libraries serve an important educational function for spiritual communities. Church libraries can provide recent church-related publications and important reference material that encourages theological exploration and discussion among parishioners. To improve the resources of a church library, a representative can apply for a grant to provide funding for increased staffing, purchases of new work or hiring staff. Many charitable organizations with large endowments offer annual grants aimed at improving the financial standing of church libraries that have applied or have been nominated.

Grant award recipients must submit a written report on their Catholic Library Association-funded program 90 days after the program has been held.
