Top Medical Schools in Britain

It is difficult to rank the top among the top, and the vast majority of the medical schools in Great Britain are among the best institutions in the world. There are more than 30 medical schools in the UK, with courses that take students through five to six years of study. Among the top ranked (The Guardian, 2009 Guide) are the Universities of Dundee, Cambridge, Oxford, Edinburgh and the University College London.

The school takes about 330 undergraduate medical students each year divided into a wide range of divisions. The school has also produced Nobel scholars and award winning scientists in the medical sciences.
