Craft stores carry canvas tote bags in all different colors so you might be able to find a tote in one of her team colors so that it will coordinate with her cheerleading uniform. Tie team color 6-inch strips of ribbon around the handles of the tote to give it a decorative touch.
Game Day Survival Bag

You can put together a small make-up bag filled with useful items that a cheerleader can use when she finds herself in a jam. Fill the make-up bag with stain removing wipes in case she spills something on her uniform. Throw in a couple tubes of lip balm, as cheerleader's lips can dry quickly when she is outside in the cold cheering at a football game. A travel-size deodorant is a wonderful item to include in the survival bag because all that cheering can work up a sweat.
For female cheerleaders you can include some special items. Put a couple of hair elastics and some bobby pins in the bag for hair emergencies.
