The Best Verizon Non Camera Cell Phones

Cell phones have become one of the most popular electronic accessories today. Cell phones provide users a way to stay in contact no matter where they are, and they serve as a means of getting in touch during an emergency or other urgent situation. Although cell phones have technologically progressed a lot over the years, many still prefer basic versions without cameras. Verizon, one of the biggest cell phone providers in America, offers several of these basic phones.

BlackBerry 8830 World Edition

  • Verizon’s BlackBerry 8830 World Edition provides all of the key functions of a smart phone without having a camera feature. The BlackBerry 8830 World Edition is an entirely digital phone that offers Bluetooth technology, a full keyboard and even sports a digital music player to listen to songs while on the go. The World Edition is great for those with hectic schedules, as it can pick up wireless Internet for browsing and email functions. If a World Edition user runs out of memory on the phone, there is also an expandable memory slot that reads micro SD cards. After a two-year contract, this BlackBerry phone is only $19.99 with Verizon.

Samsung Knack

  • A more basic Verizon phone that also comes without a camera is the Samsung Knack. The Knack has a more basic look, standard keys and is available only in the flip phone style. The Knack is a compact phone ideal for those who only need their device to make and receive calls, as well as send and receive text messages. Despite its small size, the Samsung Knack has a large display which is ideal for those with poor vision. The Knack also has organizational features such as an alarm clock, calculator and stop watch. Once a two-year contract is agreed upon, Verizon is offering the Knack for $39.99.

Motorola Barrage

  • The Motorola Barrage is another Verizon phone that does not contain a camera. The Barrage is a flip phone with a display screen on the outside of the phone as well. Known for its extreme durability, the Barrage can withstand hot temperatures, wind, dust and even one meter of water for up to half an hour. There is also a music player with playlist capabilities on the Barrage and up to 16 GB of removable memory in the form of a micro SD card. Mobile email, instant messaging, and chatting are all possible on this Verizon phone as well. After an online discount and a two-year contract agreement, Verizon offers the Barrage for $129.99
