Make back-to-school time more fun for kids with creative gifts. Teachers and school faculty members can make students feel welcome by placing unexpected back-to-school gifts on the students' desks. Imagine the children's surprise when they walk into the classroom and find back-to-school gifts awaiting them. Make student gifts that are both fun and functional with cool stuff they will enjoy and use throughout the school year.

Mini Cubicles

The Martha Stewart website shares an easy and unique craft to give students for their desktops: the "Homemade Study Center." The project instructs cutting off the top, bottom and one side of a cardboard carton then finishing with colored duct tape. The Martha Stewart site then suggests adding clamps, tacks and rubber bands to organize paper notes and other items. You could also cover the mini cubicle with contact paper or school-themed wrapping paper (applied with spray adhesive). Give the study centers to students for a unique back-to-school gift that will help them concentrate and prevent cheating.
