Military Centerpiece Ideas
Use a military theme for a dinner party, boot camp graduation, birthday, military ball, or a going away or homecoming party honoring someone in the military. Create centerpieces that complement the entire theme of the party and reflect the guest of honor's personality, as well as the purpose of the party. Does this Spark an idea?

Models

Use statues of military symbols, such as the bald eagle found in the Air Force insignia or the anchor found in the Navy insignia. Die cast models of Air Force jets or Navy ships or submarines can be used if you're focusing on those branches of the military or if you'd like to honor each branch. Tanks and other military vehicles could work for a child's party.
Red, White, and Blue
-
Use authentic American flags that have been folded and preserved in enclosed cases. Place small flags in jars or pails with red, white, and blue tissue paper for a less formal setting. Pails can be silver or alternate red, white, and blue. For a picnic, child's party, or less formal military gathering, use lollipops or other candy striped red, white, and blue. Fill large jars with candy and group the colors together. For example, place red M&M'S in one jar, white Jordan almonds in another jar, and blue jelly beans in the third jar.

Formal Ideas
-
For a more formal military gathering, consider using formal colors such as the Army's black and gold color scheme. Use black tablecloths with gold confetti sprinkled across the center. A gold candelabra can hold black or white candles. Bouquets of red, white, and blue roses or other flowers can be placed in clear or gold vases on each table. Incorporate U.S. colors into your formal table settings by using a white tablecloth and alternate between red and blue linen napkins.
Memorabilia
-
For a military reunion or welcome home party, use personal memorabilia such as photographs or medals. Make a scrapbook for each table or use a rotating picture frame to display photos of the guest of honor. Include formal and casual pictures. Newspaper clippings and awards can also be framed and displayed.
