They also serve as the first step in the publishing screening process.

Eaton Literary Agency, Inc.

Eaton Literary Agency, Inc. in Sarasota, Fla. represents works of fiction and non-fiction (books), short stories and articles. It does not handle poetry, children's books, plays (stage or screen) or newspaper articles. Unlike other agencies, Eaton does not accept partial manuscripts for consideration. The agents must see the entire, completed manuscript in order to decide whether to represent the author. While the agency tries to report on the manuscript within three weeks of receiving it, it may take longer at times depending on the influx of submissions.
