Soccer Scrapbook Page Layout Ideas
Choosing the right theme for a scrapbook page will set the tone and help unify the design. Whether you're documenting your own soccer involvement or creating pages for your children and their friends, many soccer-themed layouts are possible. Let your kids help on their pages, adding their own artistic touch and personalizing their pages. Watch your kids while working, and help them out when they need to use scissors or other sharp objects.

Try to use shots that really capture the action. A picture of your child running with the ball or a player diving to block a ball from going into the goal will add action and movement to your pages. Instead of gluing the pictures down as they are, cut out around the players and glue them individually onto the page. Arrange them so they look like they're playing in a game. One person might be kicking the ball while another runs ahead of him. If you want to paste a more formal picture, such as the entire soccer team, use a colored paper border or background behind it when attaching it to the scrapbook page.
Decorations
-
Soccer balls are an obvious item for decorating your pages. Draw your own or use soccer ball stickers to decorate borders or the corners of pictures. If you have a picture of a goalie diving for the ball or a player running for it, place the sticker where the ball should be. Other decorations include drawings or cutouts of soccer uniforms, or simply stickers representing the numbers of each player. Try to incorporate your team's colors, or use the design of the soccer ball as a pattern for the background of your pages.

Not only can you place your pictures so the people look like they're in the middle of all the action, but you can arrange your pages to represent the soccer field as well. One page might show a green field from above, with the goals and lines marked out with white squares and lines done in paint marker. Another page might show a picture or drawing of a goal at one end, with the players racing toward it. Make sure to include awards and certificates in your scrapbook. Take a picture and make smaller copies if the award itself won't fit in the scrapbook.
