There are many reasons that you need to use the utmost security measures while on the Internet in order to keep yourself and loved ones safe. It doesn't matter what age you are, you need to protect yourself, your family and your children from Internet stalkers as well as protect your personal information so that no one steals your identity or hacks your banking information.

There are plenty of programs such as Net Nanny or Cybersitter available that will help you set limits where your children's Internet activity is concerned. These programs will keep your children off of inappropriate sites and it can set time limits on how long they are on the Internet. This is also useful to keep track of all computer activity both online and offline.
