Pressure points are areas on the body that are vulnerable to attack or manipulation. In these areas nerves cross with one another to go in separate directions. Manipulating a pressure point sends a signal to the brain that affects the entire body. While all points are vital, attacking some pressure points can be deadly.

Individuals have a temple on the left and right of the forehead. While not visible like the eye nose, temples are vital points directly connected to the brain. Striking the left or right temple sends a shock wave to the brain that causes disorientation. A severe attack on these pressure points could cause unconsciousness, seizures and death.

Also known as the Adam's Apple, the Larynx is located at the front of a person's throat. This area is characterized by a lump in men. When an individual strikes someone is this area, they rupture the trachea or windpipe, making breathing difficult and even impossible. While sudden death is nearly impossible, a strong blow to the larynx could cause breathing complications and bleeding that eventually prove fatal.

Base of the Nose

The base of the nose is located between the left and right eye. It is also the place where the forehead meets the nose and eyes.
