Polka-Dot Ladybug Room
-
Use the decorative pattern on a ladybugs back to create a panoramic polka-dot ladybug room. Paint the walls red and let the first coat of paint dry before painting black circles in random spots all over the red walls. Or, use only one accent wall, if red will be overpowering in the whole room.
This classic ladybug pattern works well as the main focal point in the room. Use twine string to hang up plush, wooden or other types of ladybugs from the ceiling. Adorn the room with ladybug lamps, more plush toys and other accents, such as a red table and chair set with black spots painted on it. Look for ladybug bedding that goes well with this theme and use ribbons to tie silk daisies or other flowers around the bed posts as a finishing touch.
Garden Ladybug Theme
-
Create a garden ladybug room for your little girl. Hire an artist to paint the walls to look like a garden with jumbo-sized ladybugs resting on flowers, flying through the air and crawling up trees. Paint a white picket fence along the bottom border of the wall. Use these garden scenes on all the walls to create the most dramatic effect in the room -- or on only one wall for a more muted effect.
Look for ladybug bedding that features ladybugs and flowers in a garden-like setting, or opt for solid-colored bedding if you use a large mural. Decorate the rest of the room with other ladybug and flower decor, such as lamps, table and chair sets and flower-shaped rugs.

Butterflies and Ladybugs
-
Design a bedroom featuring butterflies and ladybugs together. Paint the walls pink, purple, yellow or any color of your choosing. Then place butterfly and ladybug wall stickers all over the walls in random spots. Use twine string to hang flying butterflies and other ladybugs from the ceiling. Look for bedding and other decor pieces that feature both butterflies and ladybugs. Adorn the bed with butterfly and ladybug pillows and other decor that blends well in the room.
Pink and Chocolate Ladybug Theme
-
Decorate a room featuring pink and chocolate ladybugs and pink and brown and brown polka dots. Paint the walls light pastel pink and let the paint dry. Then paint darker pink and brown polka dots in a pattern over the walls. Look for bedding in solid chocolate with pink pillows and accents. Sit one large chocolate and pink ladybug in the middle of the bed.
