IMobileCinema is a free Safari plugin for your iPhone or iPod Touch that helps you play Internet videos. iMobileCinema is designed to let you play Flash videos, such as those on popular sites like Youtube. The plugin is not difficult to install, but it does have some specific requirements.

IMobileCinema adds Flash capability to your device. Although iMobileCinema cannot decode the more complex .swf Flash files, including Flash games, it can dcode and play .flv files, or Flash videos.

IMobileCinema adds real-time video capability to the Safari Web browser. With this plug-in, you can go to any site that uses Flash video, including Youtube, and play full-screen Flash videos. All you have to do is go to the site, tap the video, and wait for the video to finish buffering. Then it plays automatically.

IMobileCinema is designed for the iPod Touch or the iPhone. At the moment, your iPod Touch or iPhone must be jailbroken to run iMobileCinema. If you do not want to jailbreak your device, you won't be able to install the plug-in.
Installation

IMobileCinema can be installed through Cydia, the application management software for jailbroken iPod Touches and iPhones. You can get more information on Cydia at cydia.saurik.com/. You can access iMobileCinema by opening Cydia on your jailbroken device, and then entering the URL d.imobilecinema.com in the "enter cydia/APT URL" text box. Then, select iMobileCinema and tap the "Install" button. IMobileCinema will install itself on your device.

IMobileCinema can only run on a jailbroken device. While Apple has expressed disapproval for jailbreaking in the past, jailbreaking was deemed legal by the United States government in July 2010. Therefore, there is nothing illegal about installing iMobileCinema on your iPod Touch or iPhone. However, jailbreaking your device may void your warranty.
