Tools for the Bedazzler

Add faux jewels to clothing with the BeDazzler.

The BeDazzler is a plastic, handheld machine that affixes plastic jewels to clothing, shoes and such fabric accessories as purses and hats. You can purchase the BeDazzler from online vendors. Once the plastic jewels are inserted into the fabric piece, you can wear the pieces and wash them. The jewels are permanent.

BeDazzler Machine

The BeDazzler Machine is the main tool you will use. It has a plastic frame and an arm with a spindle for pressing and embedding the plastic tools into clothing and fabric accessories, including bags and belts.

Rhinestones

When you purchase a BeDazzler machine, you will receive 25 jeweled rhinestones. You will place these faux jewels on the BeDazzler machine plate in a downward-facing position. You then place the fabric over the plate and press down on the arm of the machine, which will release a setting to secure the rhinestone to the fabric permanently.

Settings

Your BeDazzler machine package also includes settings. You will load these into the spindle of the BeDazzler machine. Each time you press the BeDazzler arm down onto the fabric, the setting will release from the spindle and hold the rhinestone in place.

Studs

You will also receive 150 studs in your BeDazzler kit. Use these for more subtle embellishment for your clothing. The studs work like the rhinestones, except they have a muted, metal finish.
