As a religion, Islam covers both the material and spiritual aspects of life.

There are many personal reasons why people become affiliated with the Muslim religion, including dissatisfaction with their birth religion and the search for spiritual and religious truth. There are many different practical reasons to be a Muslim and due to the strict rules of this religion, against the partaking of alcohol, drugs and immoralities, Islam offers people a life of self-control, self-evaluation and obedience to Allah the Creator.

  1. Benefits

    • Islam offers many benefits to its followers, including the opportunity to evaluate your purpose on Earth and to practice many of the tenets Allah intended for people. Doing this helps you develop and live meaningful and spiritual lives. By practicing the teachings of Islam, you have the opportunity to get to know your creator and live a life of peace, harmony and tranquility.

    The Quran

    • The Quran contains documented stories of the Prophets and Messengers from Adam to Muhammad, providing a true understanding of the spiritual evolution of mankind on Earth. Exposure to the Quran, through reading and study, offers a true understanding of the connection between science and religion. It assists you in finding a life of peace and understanding, eventually leading to a peaceful and meaningful existence on Earth.

    The Daily Salah

    • Practicing the daily Salah gets rid of unwanted electrostatic charges from your brain and the central nervous system, that build up as a result of daily life on this planet. The reason Muslims prostrate by placing their forehead on the ground is in order to return these electrostatic charges to the ground and purify the body and mind. This practice cleanses the person of many neurological diseases and conditions and results in a gradual development of the personality towards perfection.

    Fasting

    • The experience of fasting in Islam produces self-control, restraint, discipline, education and self-evaluation and results in obedience to Allah the Creator. According to the Islam, fasting also offers an improvement in your health, personality, character and behavior towards others. Fasting teaches people to control their desires, lusts, selfishness and conceitedness.

    Pilgrimage to Mecca

    • By performing a pilgrimage to Mecca, you transcend yourself from being denominational, nationalistic or sectarian and become a truly universal being, removing any inferiority or superiority complexes that you may possess. The pilgrimage aligns you with all the prophets from Adam and Eve to the present, as Islam recognizes them all, including Jesus.

    The Afterlife

    • When you die as a Muslim, you will die at peace with yourself and at peace with God. Angels will comfort you at the time of death and on the Day of Judgment you will see and meet all the prophets and messengers of God and your friends and relatives. In paradise you will live an eternal life of bliss.
