What Can I Use to Keep My Eye Glasses From Fogging?
Eyeglasses that fog are a nuisance that impair your vision. Eyeglasses often fog when there is an extreme change in temperature. Walking from an air conditioned room to hot, humid air and leaving a warm car on a cold winter day will cause your glasses to fog. There are several ways to minimize or prevent this from happening. Soap or Shaving Cream

Use a thin mixture of liquid dish soap or shaving cream and water on your eyeglasses. Rub the soapy water over your lenses. Dry the glasses with a soft towel and buff them until they are clear. The soap residue will provide a barrier on your glasses that will minimize the fogging.
Toothpaste

Rub a small amount of toothpaste on your lenses. Be sure to cover all areas of the lenses. Wipe the lenses until they are clear with a soft cloth. The toothpaste will leave a residue on the eyeglasses that will prevent them from fogging.

Anti-fog Solution

Use a commercial anti-fog solution to clean your glasses. Spray the eyeglasses and wipe them with a soft cloth. Anti-fog solutions can be used on eyeglasses, safety glasses, face shields and goggles. You will need to re-apply the solution daily.
Anti-fog Cloth

Cleaning cloths are available that contain an anti-fog solution. Rub your eyeglasses with the cloth in order to prevent fogging. They are available in a travel pouch and can be kept with you at all times. The cloths are reusable.
