Kindergarten classrooms are full of 5- and 6-year-old children ready to learn and full of inquisitiveness. Teachers can find funding for special projects and programs from a variety of sources. Teacher associations, educational organizations and even local community foundations offer grants for innovative classroom projects. The Grantsmanship Center (see Resources section) maintains a list of funding organizations in each state.
