What Are Snowball Items in "League of Legends"?
League of Legends is an online game based on the Defense of the Ancients (DoTA) map for "Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne" released in 2009. Players are split into two teams of one to five champions with a nexus, or main building, on each side. A team wins if they destroy the other team's Nexus. Your champion levels up and becomes stronger with more kills or by purchasing items, including snowball items.

Snowball Trio
-
The "League of Legends" snowball trio includes Leviathan, Mejai's Soulstealer and Sword of the Occult.
These items are unique because they stack, or get stronger, with each kill or assist you get on a character; minions do not count. They max out at 20 stacks. Once you max out, you gain an additional power or perk. When you die, you lose 1/3 of your total stack. While you can have more than one of these items in your possession at a time, having multiples does not increase your stack or power any more than a single one.
Mejai's Soulstealer
-
Mejai's Soulstealer is a snowball item you get by combining an Amplifying Tome (435g) with 800g. It is an advanced ability power that awards you 20 ability points. Your character gets 8 more ability power for each stack. Once you stack it 20 times, your character's cooldown time reduces by 15 percent. The characters that benefit most from using Mejai's Soulstealer include Akali, Anivia, Brand, Evelynn, Janna, Kassadin, Katarina, Kayle, Kennen, Lux, Orianna, Sion, Sona, Soraka, Veigar and Vladimir.
-
Leviathan
-
The Leviathan is an advanced item in "League of Legends" crafted by mixing 475 grams of Ruby Crystal and 800 gold. Leviathan offers 32 health for each stack, with a maximum health of 820 when you reach 20 stacks. Your champion takes 15 percent less damage when you have 20 stacks. The champions that can benefit most from Leviathan are Alistar, Amumu, Cho'Gath, Dr. Mundo, Gragas, Rammus, Shen, Singed and Vladimir.
Sword of the Occult
-
The Sword of the Occult forms when you craft a Long Sword with 954 gold. It grants you 10 basic attack damage with five additional attack damage for each stack. Once you reach 20 stacks, your character moves 15 percent faster. Sword of the Occult is ideal for Akali, Ashe, Caitlyn, Ezreal, Jax, Katarina, Kayle, Miss Fortune, Nocturne, Pantheon, Shaco, Tryndamere, Urgot and Xin Zhao.
The Bloodthirster
-
You can get the Bloodthirster by crafting the vampiric scepter, the B.F. sword and 900 gold together. Bloodthirster is different from the trio and stacks every time you make a kill on either a minion or a character. It starts with an extra 60 points of attack damage and 15 percent life steal. You get .25 percent life steal and one attack damage point per kill with a maximum of 40 damage and 10 percent life steal. When you die, you lose all bonuses. Bloodthirster is most beneficial for Ashe, Caitlyn, Corki, Ezreal, Gangplank, Irelia, Master Yi, Miss Fortune, Nocturne, Pantheon, Shaco, Sion, Sivir, Teemo, Tristana, Tryndamere, Twisted Fate, Twitch, Vayne and Xin Zhao.
Warmog's Armor
-
Warmog's armor is a defensive armor that begins with 920 health and 30 health regeneration every .5 seconds. You need a giant's belt, a ruby crystal, a regrowth pendant and 980 gold to craft it. You gain an additional 4.5 health and .15 health regeneration for each minion kill and 45 health and 1.5 health regeneration for every champion kill and assist. It maxes out at an additional 450 health and 15 health regeneration every 5 seconds. Death does not impact Warmorg's armor. It is most beneficial with Alistar, Cho'Gath, Dr. Mundo, Malphite, Nasus, Olaf, Shen, Singed, Sion and Vladimir.
