Key Lime Juice and Tomato Juice
The juice of a key lime can stop armpit sweating. Before going to sleep at night, cut a key lime in half. Rub one half on your left armpit and the other half on your right armpit. Give the liquid sufficient time to dry before going to sleep. Do this every night and your armpit sweating will reduce. Tomato juice is another natural remedy. Juice fresh tomatoes and drink one cup each day, for seven days. Drink the juice every other day after this. Use fresh juice from the fruit, not the commercial brands. Your sweating will reduce over time.
Over-the-counter, all natural antiperspirants can be purchased from organic stores or from your local drug store. They can be used instead of non-natural, commercial antiperspirants that contain questionable ingredients such as aluminum and parabens. Natural antiperspirants may contain ingredients such as charcoal, vinegar, aloe vera gel, green tea and baking soda. They are hypoallergenic and free of parabens and aluminum. Many consider natural antiperspirants to be the safer alternative.
Cornstarch and Baking Soda
Cornstarch and baking soda are key ingredients that help eliminate sweaty armpits. They absorb and block moisture, therefore keeping your armpits dry. Make your own sweat-fighting remedy by mixing 1/2 a cup of cornstarch with 1/2 a cup of baking soda. Add 10 drops of your favorite essential oil and place the mixture in an air-tight glass jar. Dust the powder on your dry armpits after bathing or showering to combat sweat all day long.
Adjust Your Diet
Your diet can be the culprit causing you to have sweaty armpits. Caffeine, alcohol, onions, garlic and spicy foods increase your blood circulation and stimulate your sweat glands, resulting in armpit sweat. Combat sweating by adjusting your diet. Drink water all throughout the day to help cool your body down so it is less likely to sweat. Eat fiber-rich foods such as whole-grain breads, oatmeal and fortified cereals. Fiber promotes digestive health and therefore eliminates sweat and odor-causing toxins.
