How to Transfer Items Between Characters in Maplestory

In "MapleStory," it is possible to transfer items and Mesos between the different characters you may have, as long as they are on the same account and are in the same world. While Mesos are free to transfer between accounts, items cost on average 100 Mesos to transfer into storage. The storage itself is limited to four items at a time, and the fees apply to every item you wish to transfer.

Log in as the character that possesses the item you wish to transfer.

Find a Storage Nonplayer Character (NPC). Every city in MapleStory has at least one Storage NPC in it. More than half of them appear to be a Chinese gentleman in traditional garb with a fumanchu mustache and a pony tail. The remaining half vary greatly, but all can be identified by speaking to them. Storage NCP's tend to be in the most heavily populated areas of town.

Speak to the Storage NCP.

Pay the fee in Mesos for storage.

Select the item you wish to put in storage.

Log out of your character, then log in as the character you wish to receive the item.

Find a Storage NPC.

Move the item from storage to your character's inventory.

Tips

The CashShop on the main MapleStory page can add four additional slots to your storage for a fee.

Warnings

While the storage fee is a flat 100 Mesos in most of the game world, Mr. Mohammed in El Nath will charge you 150 Mesos for the service, while Scrooge in the Free Market will charge you a whopping 500 Mesos!
