"Pokemon" is the long-running series of monster training games published by Nintendo for its handheld systems. Released in 2004, "Pokemon: Emerald Version" is the fifth title in the series for GameBoy Advance. Like other GameBoy Advance games, you can play the Pokemon series on a computer using a hardware emulator, such as No$gba or Visual Boy Advance. These programs load image files of the game cartridge called "ROM" files. Emulators also have the ability to load cheat codes from GameShark and Action Replay without requiring the user to own either device.

Walk Through Walls

To walk through walls, enter the cheat code "7881A409 E2026E0C 8E883EFF 92E9660D" into your emulator.

No Random Battles

Use the code "32C96211F488" to completely stop random battles from occurring.

Full Light

Some areas of the game are dark and difficult to navigate without a Pokemon having "Flash" ability handy. Enter "0C7BD341 E9775222" to turn on the lights.

Free Day Care

You can deposit your Pokemon in Day Care to gain extra levels while you are away. While Day Care is usually expensive, the code "1DA9FE177458" makes it free.
