Post-Reception Ideas for Las Vegas Weddings
There is something for everyone in Las Vegas, including a large wedding industry. Whether you're having an Elvis themed wedding or a lavish black tie affair, couples of all kinds choose Las Vegas as their wedding destination. Since Las Vegas has activities going on at all hours of the day and night, the celebration doesn't have to stop after the wedding reception.

Gambling
-
Gambling is a good choice that allows a large group of adults to do something together but also choose the game they wish to play and how much money they wish to spend. Gambling is available at all hours of the day or night in Las Vegas, but guests under 21 will not be able to participate. Some of the largest and most upscale casinos can be found at places like Aria, Caesars Palace, Bellagio and the Wynn. For a lower budget experience, downtown casinos often have lower betting limits.
Nightclubs
-
Las Vegas is home to some of the largest upscale nightclubs in the country. Nightclubs are a fun way to continue the reception party; however, there can be steep cover charges, especially for men, and long lines to get in. Websites like Freevegasclubpasses.com can be used if you would like to plan nightclub experiences in advance. Things like discounted bottle service, VIP guest list and discounted passes can be found there. Notable clubs include Tao at the Venetian, Ghostbar on the 55th floor of the Palms and Pure at Caesars, where celebrities are often spotted.

Shows
-
Shows are a good structured activity to plan, but they can be expensive. Cirque Du Soleil shows, such a O at the Bellagio, Mystere at Treasure Island and Beatles LOVE at the Mirage, are among the more well known shows. Ticket costs reflect this, and as of May 2011 prices range from $70 to $155 per ticket. Adult only shows, such as the classic showgirls production of Jubilee!, have tickets prices in the mid-$70 range.
Free Attractions
-
Las Vegas provides guests with a number of free attractions. Though free attractions are not a structured activity, they won't cost anything and are good for guests of all ages. The fountains at the Bellagio provide choreographed water shows to songs such as "Hey, Big Spender" and "My Heart Will Go On." Similar outdoor shows include the erupting volcano outside the Mirage and the Sirens pirate show outside Treasure Island. Another option is to escape the strip and head downtown for the Fremont St. Experience, a light show that occurs on one of the largest canopies in the country.
