Forms of Christian Worship
Christians may wonder what kind of worship they can participate in that expresses their love for God. Worship is dynamic and changing, but the purpose of worship never changes, and that is to glorify and connect with God. If you are looking to deepen your relationship with God, engaging in different types of worship can assist you in achieving this goal.

Exploring Your Passions
-
Exploring what you are passionate about is one way to glorify God because according to the Bible (Romans 12:4-8), he gave each person a unique set of gifts that should be used to bring glory to his name. Each person is different, and each has a deep passion and talent that can be used to move others to see God's light. Exploring your passion is one way to creatively worship God.
Sacrificing and Suffering
-
Being willing to sacrifice when it is painful is one deep way to worship God. Sacrifice demonstrates devotion and passion, pleasing God. Sacrifice is true worship because it demonstrates that you will give up what you desire, believing that God will provide what you need when he wants you to have it. It takes bravery and commitment to be a person who sacrifices.

Having Integrity
-
Having integrity is a form of worship because it shows that you will love God even when it is difficult and inconvenient. It may be easy to do what is right in front of others, but when you are by yourself, it demonstrates true integrity to do the correct thing. Having integrity also means that you are honoring God because you are respecting his holiness and his perfection, trying not to stumble when it comes to doing what you should.
Giving
-
Giving to God by tithing, or donating 10 percent of your income, is one way to bring him glory. It says in the Bible that Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for not obeying this particular part of the law. Tithing is a form of worship because it demonstrates complete devotion to God, including obeying this particular law he laid out.
Being Vulnerable to God
-
Being vulnerable and open to God's plan is one more way to truly worship him. This is an important form of worship because it involves listening and responding to what God says when he says it. It includes having an open heart, being sensitive to others' needs, trusting that God knows best and we do not, and believing that he will come through for us when we need him most.
