The Cub Cadet Cyclone 50 is constructed of a fully-welded steel frame, polycarbonate NSB-90 front-wheel bearings and a pivoting front axle with 12-gauge floating deck that follows the contours of the ground for maximum cutting efficiency. It includes an electronic system monitor, two-way adjustable lap bars for precision steering and a hand lever to adjust the deck lift. Additional standard amenities include a lever-adjustable, high-back seat for maximum rider comfort as well as a convenient cup holder with utility bin.

The Cub Cadet Cyclone 50 is available with a choice of two types of engines: the 24-horsepower, professional-grade Kawasaki V-Twin OHV engine or the 25-hp, professional-grade Kohler Courage V-Twin OHV engine. Both models includes a patented Dual Hydro-Gear EZT transmission system. Additional engine features include a heavy-duty, 12-V sealed battery; mechanical parking brake; and push-button operation, with both electronic fingertip clutch engagement and an electric starter. The mower provides a maximum forward speed of 6 mph and a top reverse speed of 3 mph.

The Cub Cadet Cyclone 50 weighs approximately 527 pounds and has an overall length of 67 inches, a width of 54 inches and a wheelbase measured at 43.5 inches. Its 50-inch mowing deck consists of three belt-driven cutting blades that provide a cutting width of 50 inches with six adjustable cutting heights that range from 1.5 to 4 inches off the ground. In addition, it includes a maximum fluid capacity of 3 gallons of fuel and up to 2 quarts of engine oil.

There are several optional performance accessories available for the Cub Cadet Cyclone 50. These include a 50-inch twin bagger for easy clean-up, a mulching kit with a 50-inch mulcher, a rear-mounted spreader and a bumper constructed of high-quality steel.
