Clothing
-
A brown suit coat starts the clothing choices for Stubbs the Zombie. Under the jacket wear a white or off-white dress shirt, with the top button or two unbuttoned and a red tie, tied, but then loosened to hang lower. Brown or black dress pants work. Go with brown dress shoes. A brown fedora is mandatory. The more crumpled and tattered the clothing is, the better the effect will work. If the jacket and shirt are disposable, think about removing one sleeve.
Accessories
-
Stubbs the Zombie has, as a weapon, a severed hand. Find a severed hand prop, including the arm if possible, at a Halloween store to carry. Stubbs is a zombie, so he eats brains. Get a prop brain and carry it around for a snack. A prop cigarette should be hanging out of Stubbs' mouth. While not an actual physical accessory, attitude should be considered. Stubbs has an acerbic sense of humor, so don't forget your dark jokes.

Makeup
-
Stubbs the Zombie presents a zombie appearance different from most other representations. Stubbs' color scheme is green. Start with a green base applied to hands and face, and any other skin exposed via tears in clothing or other tatters. The surface of Stubbs' body is shown to have textures, like raised bumps. This can be achieved using latex attached with spirit gum. Alternately, applying varying tones of darker and lighter green makeup creates a similar look.
Safety Tips
-
Never apply a full makeup treatment without doing a spot check first. Put makeup on a small area of skin and watch for signs of irritation like redness, swelling or itching. When applying makeup to the face only use makeup marked for facial use. Don't mix different types of makeup. When working with makeup, stay away from open sources of flame. That rule applies to spray hair treatments and powders, as well.
