Toenail Styles

Choose a design for your toenails.

Painted and colorful toenails are flattering to all women. If you want to show off your tootsies in high-heeled shoes and sandals, pretty up your feet with decorative toenail styles. Choose from airbrushed or painted designs. Get creative and decorate those toes with colors and designs. If you are not comfortable painting designs yourself, visit a nail salon to get them done.

French Manicure

A french pedicure is classic. It is an understated look that works well with any outfit. French manicure toenail styles generally have light pink polish over the nail bed, with thin white tips on the ends. There are a few variations. If you desire a more modern look, try a french manicure with rhinestones added just underneath the white tip.

Flowers

Flowers are a feminine design to put on the toenails. It is perfect for spring or summer. There are a myriad of designs and colors to choose from. For a springy look, paint the toenails a shimmery cream color. Put flowers on just the big toes. That is because the other toes are too small. Use blue nail polish to paint the flowers, or use nail decals to add them.

Strawberries

Heads will turn when people take a gander at your strawberry-designed toenails. To create strawberry theme toenails, start by adding red nail polish to all of the toenails. The tips are then painted in a hunter green color. After the nail polish is dry, paint white dots on top of the red nail polish. As this can be difficult to do, it may be a good idea to have the toenails painted by a professional.

Stripes

Striped toenails are a unique design. If you favor dark colors, paint stripes of black and red on the toenails. The stripes can be either horizontal or vertical. If you prefer neutral colors, use colors such as cream, taupe and baby blue to make the stripes. Choose from thick stripes or thin stripes.
