Google AdSense Guide
Google AdSense is a program that allows you to get paid for placing ads on your website. Anytime a visitor to your website clicks on an ad, you will receive a payment for the click. These ads can be placed on your website, a mobile website or in your RSS feed.

Ad Location
-
Your website's visitors can't click on your Google ads if they don't see them. Place Google AdSense ads in conspicuous places on your website to receive the maximum number of clicks. Placing ads at the top of your website, in between paragraphs and between posts will allow your website's visitors to view your ads as they read your content. Make sure your website has sufficient content so that the Google ads don't dominate your entire website.
Ad Content
-
Choosing the correct keywords and the type of ads you show on your website are essential factors to your success with Google AdSense. If your website is about pets, showing real estate-related ads probably won't generate much interest among your website's visitors and you will end up with fewer clicks on your ads. AdSense also allows you to filter out the ads of websites that compete with you so your visitors will not leave your website to visit your competitors.

Clicks
-
You must bring in sufficient traffic to your website to get people to click on your Google ads. Your website's content should be compelling and interesting to bring visitors in, and your ads should be complementary to your content. Google's AdSense policy forbids website owners from clicking on ads or encouraging others to click on ads that are posted on their website to generate additional revenue.
Google Analytics
-
Google Analytics analyzes your website's traffic to tell you who is visiting your website, how they found you, what search engine they used, what page referred your website and what pages they looked at during their visit to your website. Used in tandem with Google AdSense, Google Analytics can help you to increase the number of qualified visitors that your website receives by targeting specific keywords or demographics that will bring in traffic and increase the clicks that your ads receive.
