There's more to nailing that game adviser position at GameStop than just showing up well-dressed with cash register experience on your resume. Are you a gamer? Do you know your platforms? If you have a favorite genre, think about why it's your favorite and how you would sell it to a potential customer. Look up the latest, most exciting news in the gaming industry and toss it out there when you see an opening.

Game Advisers at GameStop are responsible for ringing up the sale, but that's just one part of the position. You must meet minimum requirements on game reserves and magazine subscriptions too, and most store managers focus on these two factors because their district managers require it.
