Fancy Ways to Ask a Girl Out

Send flowers to your girl to ask her out on a date.

It can be difficult to think of fun, creative ways to ask out that girl you have your eye on. Instead of focusing your attention on what she's going to say when you finally get around to asking her out, plan an interesting, unique way to talk to her and ask her on a date. She'll be so smitten that you invested time and thought that it'll be difficult to say no to such a sweet guy.

  1. Quotations

    • Search for the perfect poem, quotation or lyric that conveys how you feel about the girl. Write it in a pretty greeting card or just on a slip of paper. Leave it where you'll know she'll find it -- in her locker, stuck into a pocket in her jacket or on her desk at work. After the quote, write a quick sentence asking her to join you for dinner.

    Gifts

    • Have a small bouquet of flowers sent to her home or place of work. The simpler the flowers, the better. Roses may be overkill if you've just met. Include a small card with a short note that asks her out. Just about every girl loves chocolate, so an alternate idea is to send her a box of chocolates instead of flowers.

    Treasure Hunt

    • If you're pretty sure the girl you want to ask out will truly want to go out with you, create a treasure hunt for her. The treasure will be a date with you. Give her a map and clues that she has to follow to eventually get to the location of your first date. Don't let her know what's at the end of the hunt, though; surprise her by getting dressed up and having the evening planned.

    Baked Goods

    • If you enjoy baking, whip up a batch of cookies or brownies for your girl. Make them heart-shaped if you have a cookie cutter. Write a message across the sweet treats by drawing one letter onto each cookie or brownie with icing. Spell out, "Will you go out with me?" or something short and sweet, like "Prom?" or "Friday, 7 p.m.?" Make sure you make enough goodies so your message will fit.
