Class contests are a way to get people involved with spirit week. There can be a daily contest between classes to see who has the most people participating in the designated dress-up day. Another idea for a class contest is to collect pennies for a local charity or the school library. The class that collects the most pennies wins a pizza party provided by the PTA or student council. Not only does a class contest encourage participation in school spirit week, but it can also serve as a way for students to be involved with philanthropy.
