Which Pokemons Already Know Dig?
In the "Pokemon" series of video games, the Dig technique serves two purposes. In battle, the technique is a Ground-type attack. Outside of battle, Dig allows the player to escape from dungeons and caves instantly. No Pokemon automatically knows Dig as a level one move; however, a few of them will learn the move naturally as they gain levels.

Diglett and Dugtrio

Diglett, a Ground-type Pokemon, learns Dig without the use of a TM around levels 17 or 18 (depending on the version of the game), except in "Pokemon Black" and "Pokemon White," where it learns the attack at level 34. Dugtrio, Diglett's three-headed evolved form, can also learn the move around levels 17 or 18. In "Pokemon Black" and "Pokemon White," Dugtrio learns Dig at level 40.

Dunsparce, a rare, Normal-type Pokemon that resembles a winged serpent, learns Dig at level 45 in most versions of the game; however, in "Pokemon Black" and "Pokemon White" it learns the attack at level 53.

Nincada, a Bug and Ground-type Pokemon that resembles a cicada, can learn Dig by reaching level 45 in each version of the game. Trapinch, a Ground-type Pokemon learns Dig at level 41.
Gible, Gabite and Garchomp

Gible, Gabite and Garchomp, an evolutionary family of Dragon and Ground-type Pokemon, all learn Dig. Gible learns it at level 31. Gabite and Garchomp learn it at level 40.
Hippopotas and Hippowdon

Hippopotas, a Ground-type creature that resembles a hippopotamus, can learn Dig at level 19. Its evolved form, Hippowdon, also has the ability to learn it at the same level.
Drilbur, Excadrill and Durant

In "Pokemon Black" and "Pokemon White," Drilbur, a Ground-type that resembles a mole, and Excadrill, Drilbur's evolved form, learn Dig at level 19. Durant, a vicious-looking Bug and Steel-type, learns the technique at level 41.
Sandile, Krokorok and Krookodile

Sandile, Krokorok and Krookodile, a family of Ground and Dark-type crocodiles, utilize Dig by gaining levels. Sandile learns it at level 31, while its two evolutions learn it at level 32.
